SodaStream - Green Review

My daughter, Bella, and I were completely ecstatic when I got the email from SodaStream accepting my offer to review their product here, on Products & Reviews! I had written them because I had heard so much about the SodaStream and was starting to see them everywhere (even Target) and really wanted to try it out for myself! Bella was thrilled when the package arrived, and she was ready to get to work making some soda! The SodaStream was VERY simple to put together and came with very straight forward instructions, that even someone like me, who generally can't manage to follow instructions to save my life, could follow! All-in-all it only took a few minutes to get it from box to ready to use, cleaned and all :) which was good, because any longer and Bella would have had a coke-stroke or something lol. Making soda with the SodaStream is super simple, once you get the hang of it! Directions As shown above, first you fill the SodaSt...

Life is Unpredictable... Stay Hydrated with a Mavea Water Filtration Pitcher - Review & Giveaway!

The worst part of moving from the country, to my own place in Norman, Oklahoma a few years ago was that I left the delicious well water behind for Norman water... the most disgusting city water I've ever had, YUCK! I've tried numerous water filters, pur, Brita, the pitchers, the ones that hook on the faucet, nothing would get rid of that taste (YUCK)! I was looking online one night and I came across Mavea Inspired Water , and I heard great things, but I'd heard great things about other filters too, and well, I told you how that turned out... YUCK! So I decided I wanted to try Mavea out and see how it stacked up!  I was SO excited to get this cool pitcher in the mail! It has an indicator on the lid that shows what % of life the current filter has left, so you always know when to change the filter! It has little rubber feet so it doesn't slip, and it's just sleek and looks pretty cool, for a water pitcher ;)  The best part is that the water taste ama...

GREEN Product of the Week: Method Antibac, antibacterial kitchen cleaner

If you didn't catch my FIRST   * Green  Product of the Week*   Review ( read it here ), then you probably don't know how I came into this  Green  cleaning know-how, so I'll share the story with you again.  A few years ago my friend and I started an eco-friendly cleaning company called  Clean  &  Green  LLC   because we had caught wind of all the indoor  pollution  facts (check out first Green Review ).  Due to various reasons (check out the "My Health" section on my About Megan page)   Clean  &  Green  LLC   was a short lived venture, h owever p rior to opening we  tested tons of eco- friendly cleaning methods and products, so I have plenty of great Green  secrets to share with all of you! My Experience Method Antibac - Eco-Friendly Antibacterial Kitchen Cleaner in Orange Zest This week's   * Green  Product of the Week*   is one of ...

NEW *Green Product of the Week* Pumice Stone

Recent studies have show that air indoors can become more polluted and can contain more harsh chemicals and allergens than outside air. You don't have to take my word for it, check out what the EPA , WHO , Medline , Wiki , and DHS have to say about it. This is a disturbing fact, considering we spend most of our lives indoors.  While there are many factors and causes, one that can easily be isolated and eliminated is your cleaning products! Kinda scary to think that the products you are using to try to keep your family safe from harmful germs and bacteria could actually be problematic! Not something any mom wants to hear! So I have decided to start a * Green  Product of the Week* review! This will be a weekly review of products that are eco-friendly, toxin free, safe, and work just as well or better than the stuff you are using now!!! Most of you probably don't know how I came into this  green  cleaning know-how, but a few years ago my friend and I started an ...
