John Frieda's Full Repair, Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner

I reviewed this product awhile back after receiving a few samples of John Frieda's Full Repair, Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner. I am usually a huge John Frieda fan, but not so much with this product. It is supposed to "weightlessly repair hair to restore full style"... well I don't know about all that, I just know that after using it a few times I didn't like it much. It left my hair a bit greasy looking and it didn't smell very good. My hair didn't look healthy or "repaired." So, when it comes to John Frieda's Full Repair I'm gonna say, pass... spend your money on something else! I personally like Pantene Pro-V's Split End Repair cream, it's more like a leave in conditioner and it works way better than this stuff! Check out my review of it here !

Shock & Delight: My experience with Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy!

Well, last night I posted my review of Clear Total Care shampoo and conditioner and today I got a package from FedEx from Clear! Inside was a handwritten note stating that based on the feedback I provided (read review) they feel that Clear Moisturizing Dry Scalp shampoo and conditioner will be the best fit for me! They also provided me with a FULL SIZED shampoo and conditioner and a tip sheet with info on how to properly nourish your scalp! I'm SO excited to try this product and share what I find!  It is SO nice to see a company that actually cares about the feedback it receives and does something to try to change your opinion of their brand! Give me a week or so and I will post a review of these new Clear Moisturizing Dry Scalp products!!!

Review: Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Shampoo and Conditioner for Dry, Damaged Hair

As most of you know, I am a member of BzzAgent.com, an amazing site that helps companies share their new products with the world.  This week I received two full sized bottles from Garnier Fructis' newest line of high-preformance hair products. I had the opportunity to try, for free, Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition shampoo and conditioner (pictured above), which are the products in this new line for dry, damaged hair.   Now I get to share what I have found... Info Garnier Fructis wants you to know (i.e. what is on the package): Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition shampoo and conditioner contain olive oil, avocado oil, and shea oil. The combination of these three nutritive fruit oils penetrate deep into each strand of hair to help restore hair's natural beauty.  As you can see above, the packaging tells us that the olive oil nourishes the core, while the avocado oil nourishes and softens the middle layer and the shea oil nourishes...

John Frieda's Root Awakening Shampoo & Conditioner

Image Source: Extreme Couponing Northwest I received my sample of John Frieda's Root Awakening Nourishing Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner for dry hair from Wal-mart  a week ago. It was enough for 2 washes for me (my hair is short, but very thick, so depending on your hair length and thickness this number may increase or decrease). I can't pick out my favorite thing about these products! I just loved them! So lets start with the shampoo. The shampoo has a very unique smell, which was very soothing. I couldn't quite place the scent though without looking at the package, it is infused with natural eucalyptus and peppermint oil. These natural ingredients create a nice cooling sensation on the scalp, which is very relaxing. The conditioner is also wonderful! It too is infused with natural eucalyptus and peppermint oil, giving it that same wonderful smell and cooling affect. This is one of the thickest conditioners I've ever used. It's much like the co...
