If I Were You by Lisa Renee Jones- Book Review

You may know from my last post about this , but after I finished   Fifty Shades of Grey and Fifty Shades Darker I found myself without anything to read, waiting for Fifty Shades Freed  in line behind a few others who also had it on hold from the library.  I wrote my review and found myself on Twitter seeing what people are saying about #50Shades. The first post I saw was a post by New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author  @LisaReneeJones , saying that her book If I Were You was currently in development for a cable TV show and it was "What to read after #50Shades"... That got me interested.  I went to her facebook account where I found the above image with the tagline that follows: Get a copy of "If I Were You" today! In Development to be a cable TV show!  #50Shades  meets  #PrettyLittleLiars  Here's a SEXY teaser to get your imagination flowing. 9" Tablet Comps - Your Mid-Size Tablet Shopping Guide

When shopping for a tablet there are a lot of little things to think about. How much you want to spend? Android, Windows, or Apple? How much memory space do you need? Is the device's memory expandable? Will you be able to get the apps you want? Is this the right tablet for your uses? What size should you get? Do you need a keyboard? And the deeper you go into the rabbit hole, the more questions you will find yourself asking... or at least I have.  Which is why I'm putting everything I've learned on my tablet buying adventure into these posts on how to find the RIGHT tablet for you! Before you even start shopping you really need to get the lingo down, I went over everything you need to know in my previous post: " What to look for when you're shopping for TABLETS this season !" I recommend reading it before this one if you don't know what OS, GB, processing speed, etc. refer to, and mean in the context of buying a tablet... you should find it very helpful

This spring we're not going to say good-bye to our beloved ombre hair style, we're just going to shake it up a bit, and this great product from Born Pretty Store is an inexpensive, temporary way to do just that!   You can buy them as  a set , or  individually ! Sibu Beauty - The Miracle of Sea Buckthorn

I've been using these amazing Sibu Beauty products for a few months and I have totally fallen in love! If you are an avid Products & Reviews reader, then you know I am VERY picky about my skin care products, but Sibu surpassed my expectations! Their balancing facial cleanser is wonderful! It is a little gritty so it is almost like a nice little exfoliator every night when I use it in the shower! Plus it smells AMAZING! I follow the cleanser at night with their hydrating serum but I also use it in the morning.  It is a very nice, light moisturizing serum.     At night I follow the hydrating serum with their replenishing night cream , which is a perfect night cream!  Not too heavy, not oily, or sticky, just perfect and quick absorbing!!!     All Sibu Beauty products are made of all natural ingredients and are cruelty free!                 I highly recommend that if you have an oppor

October Starbox Review

Amazing October Starbox!!! As you all know, I'm in love with Starlook's Starbox!!! It's my favorite subscription box EVER! Their products are amazing, fun, and flirty... and extremely versatile! The colors are great too! Every month I open mine and I am blown away by the amount of products they send for $15! It's an amazing value!  The look to the left is just Garnier B.B. Cream in light/ medium with the Starlooks' lipstick in Masquerade (in October Starbox). The look to the right is Mia Mariu Perfecting Finish mineral foundation in Vainilla and Mia Mariu Hydrating Stick Gloss in Capricho , Covergirl Lashblast in black, and Starlooks' Eye Pencil in Gold Dust and Pigment Luster in Peddle (from the October Starbox) and the purple iridescent shadow from the Starlooks' pallet in last month's Starbox. FYI: Holiday Treat for those signed up by December!!!

NYC Individual Eyes for Brown Eyed Beauties ;)

I received this NYC IndividualEyes pallet ( $4.99 ) in my Influenster Beauty Blogger VoxBox and I instantly fell in love with it! It has a wonderful primer that also works great as a concealer in a crunch.  I LOVE their  über  pigmented purple! One of my all time favorite shades of purples to date! I've been using it in the crease, and using the dark sparkly brown on the lid, then using the white "illuminator" as the highlighter, and a dot on the inner and outer eye to brighten the look up.  These shades are very pigmented and great to blend which is great from an inexpensive drugstore brand like this. I've tried the Almay Eyeshadow Trios ( $6.99 ) that are similar to these, and I would highly recommend the NYC version instead, they are much more pigmented and the colors are way more vibrant, plus they come with more options... you get 4 colors of shadow plus the illuminator and the primer in one NYC shadow pallet VS. 3 shadows in the Almay.  I 100% recommend

September 2012 Starlooks' Starbox Review

If you are in the market for a subscription box, I highly recommend Starlooks' Starbox.  This is the second one I've received and I have really liked both of them! SodaStream - Green Review

My daughter, Bella, and I were completely ecstatic when I got the email from SodaStream accepting my offer to review their product here, on Products & Reviews! I had written them because I had heard so much about the SodaStream and was starting to see them everywhere (even Target) and really wanted to try it out for myself! Bella was thrilled when the package arrived, and she was ready to get to work making some soda! The SodaStream was VERY simple to put together and came with very straight forward instructions, that even someone like me, who generally can't manage to follow instructions to save my life, could follow! All-in-all it only took a few minutes to get it from box to ready to use, cleaned and all :) which was good, because any longer and Bella would have had a coke-stroke or something lol. Making soda with the SodaStream is super simple, once you get the hang of it! Directions As shown above, first you fill the SodaStream bottle up with cold drinking w

Starlooks' Starbox Review

I recently received a complimentary August Starlooks ' Starbox to review. This monthly subscription box is priced at $15 a month and for that $15 Starlooks will send 3-4 FULL SIZED products to your door every month! Now, you can't beat that!!! If you're interested you can go check out Starlooks on Facebook and Twitter ! Below is a video review of the products! I apologize, it's a little off because my little helper is at her grandparents' house today, so I had to make the video by myself without her telling me how boring I am and making sure I was in frame lol.  If you are interested in getting one of these monthly subscriptions boxes, I think this one is the way to go as far as beauty products. You're not going to be getting a better value than this with any of the other companies, in my opinion!

Chobani Greek Yogurt: Recipes, Review, & Giveaway- Oh My!

I'll be honest, I had never tried Greek yogurt before Chobani sent me a box of 12 various flavors of their single serving cups, but I had heard great things! So I was super excited when I opened the box to see all the great flavors.  There was lemon, peach, pineapple, strawberry, black cherry, strawberry banana, blueberry, blood orange, vanilla, plain, passion fruit, and mango, most of which were fat free! Let me tell you the hype about Greek yogurt, Chobani in particular, is spot on! This yogurt is WONDERFUL! After I ate the strawberry single serve while my daughter was at my parents' for the weekend, I had to go out and get a big 32oz tub of it, because I knew she would LOVE it, and let me tell you, we've about finished it already, in addition to the 16oz chocolate vanilla chunk I bought, and all the single serve cups Chobani sent! It's THAT good!!! My daughter and I really enjoy yogurt and granola for breakfast, so I went and bought some delicious granola

SPIbelt Review and Giveaway!!!

SPIbelt is a product, brand, and company I really love to get excited about because not only do they make a great product, but they are much more than the creative, cute, and colorful belts they have designed!  Made in Austin, Texas, SPIbelts, which may seem small from the outside, can hold your cell phone, keys, and ID all without giggling around while you're walking, jogging, or running! The SPIbelts are specially designed so that the pouch is slightly compressed so it is held tight to the body to minimize any bouncing, so even when it's full, you can hardly tell it's there! You can use your SPIbelt for your phone, keys, etc while exercising, like I mentioned before, or they can be used to carry inhalers, EpiPens, etc, on a daily basis.  They also have kid sized belts, they even have ones that are specially designed to hold insulin pumps. SPIbelts are allowing diabetic children who have insulin pumps to run around and be normal kids, because with these speci
