Life is Unpredictable... Stay Hydrated with a Mavea Water Filtration Pitcher - Review & Giveaway!

The worst part of moving from the country, to my own place in Norman, Oklahoma a few years ago was that I left the delicious well water behind for Norman water... the most disgusting city water I've ever had, YUCK! I've tried numerous water filters, pur, Brita, the pitchers, the ones that hook on the faucet, nothing would get rid of that taste (YUCK)!

I was looking online one night and I came across Mavea Inspired Water, and I heard great things, but I'd heard great things about other filters too, and well, I told you how that turned out... YUCK! So I decided I wanted to try Mavea out and see how it stacked up!  I was SO excited to get this cool pitcher in the mail! It has an indicator on the lid that shows what % of life the current filter has left, so you always know when to change the filter! It has little rubber feet so it doesn't slip, and it's just sleek and looks pretty cool, for a water pitcher ;)

The best part is that the water taste amazing... awesome...? I don't know, I read that those words are over used and that writers/ bloggers should stop using them, but I don't even know another word to describe the "amazing" taste... pure! maybe? I just know that it takes ALL that NASTY taste out of Norman water!!! It removes chlorine taste and odor, heavy metals, agricultural chemicals, and industrial pollutants, and that's apparently just what this Mom needed! Finally my family can drink pure, normal water without having to buy it by the gallon or by the bottle from the store, and I LOVE IT!!!

This makes me SO happy because we go through at least 1 gallon of water a day, and that's if we don't make juice or kool-aid or something with it (because yes, the taste of the water is SO bad here that it makes juice/ lemonade/ kool-aid taste weird).  Plus, not only are we saving money by not having to buy bottled water, we are now able to use our reusable bottles too, so there's less waste! That's what I call win-win!

Aspira Pura - Pure Joy Bottled

I had the great joy of randomly bumping into this company on Instagram, where they offered to send me a few free bottles of their water to see how I liked it.  I must say I absolutely love it, it's like pure joy bottled!  Aspira Pura is an amazingly crisp water that I just couldn't get enough of. Which is most likely due to the reverse osmosis process that adds the minerals and electrolytes, which regular purified water doesn't have, including Calcium Chloride, Potassium Bicarbonate, and Magnesium Chloride.  Another great feature of Aspira Pura is the bottles, which are BPA free. I've found through trial and error that this means that even when they are shipped in the heat your water won't get that plastic taste... if you drink cheap Wal-mart water you know what I'm talking about.  Depending where you look, this water will run you about the same price / mL as Icelandic Glacial or LIFEWTR, but that's because you're getting the same great minerals, electr...

VigLink - for my bloggers!

VigLink is a way for blogs to make money, especially when google is messing up your AdSense (like they're doing to me for some reason). From what I understand they create hyperlinks on thing within your blog that you have talked about, but may not have thought to link to the company's site, because maybe they weren't your main focus. Then they give you $ for the traffic that those links (and some that you have already made) get.  In 2015 I made over $700 with VigLink, mainly due to a few of my Christmas shopping posts.  So they are totally legit! And you can make way more money than with AdSense (or at least I have in the past). Plus you can use both at the same time, so you can earn money from VigLink's links and from the ads that AdSense puts up. Win - Win!
