Garnier B.B. Cream - Tinted Moisturizer Review

I wasn't lucky enough to get invited into the Garnier B.B. Cream Bzz Campaign or to get a sample, but after I started reading everyone's great reviews I knew I had to try it myself. So, a few weeks back I bought the light/ medium shade on sale at CVS.

For those of you who are not familiar with this product I'll give you a little background... B.B. Cream is a tinted moisturizer with SPF 15.  It is actually a very nice, medium weight moisturizer that's fast absorbing and contains mineral pigment (similar to what's in mineral powders).

If you're not up on all the mineral powder facts, they say that mineral powder/ pigment is safe on skin, doesn't clog pores, and is actually good for your skin.  You can even sleep in it, though it's not recommended to do so regularly.

My opinion: If you've read my other skin care reviews, you know I'm VERY picky about moisturizers... My skin is somewhat sensitive and combination dry/ oily, so it's really hard for me to find skin care products I like.  Plus, I really don't like heavy creams or foundations, I like things that absorb fast and leave me feeling like there's nothing on my face. I like the way foundation makes my skin look: nice, smooth, and even toned; however I rarely wear it because I hate feeling like I have junk caked on my face, which could be because I didn't start wearing foundation until my mid-20s.

B.B. Cream absorbs quickly and is light weight, but it is a very good moisturizer and is not oily at all.  It leaves my skin looking nice and polished with out being weighted down by a foundation. Also, I have very fair skin, but the light/ medium tone blends in with my skin perfectly.  So you don't have that "mask" look that many foundations cause.

I think this is a perfect summer product because who wants to be wearing thick, cakey makeup in the summer heat? It can substitute for foundation if you are not looking for intense coverage, or it can be used under your foundation if you are.  It's really just a must have beauty product!

I personally just wear B.B. cream and mascara, for the perfect, flawless, and natural summer look!

If you still haven't tried Garnier's B.B. Cream, I highly recommend getting some! I have a feeling it will quickly become one of your favorite beauty products as well! Hope that was helpful! If you have any questions about this, or any of my reviews for that matter, feel free to ask!

    1. I'm sorry you didn't like it. I swear by the stuff! I actually have combination dry/ oily skin and I HATE oily products but I've never had that problem with Garnier's BB Cream! I've been using it for a few months and it has really evened my tone! I was going to review some of the other drugstore BB Creams but I love this one SO much it's been a really hard decision... my face just looks so nice using this one!

Aspira Pura - Pure Joy Bottled

I had the great joy of randomly bumping into this company on Instagram, where they offered to send me a few free bottles of their water to see how I liked it.  I must say I absolutely love it, it's like pure joy bottled!  Aspira Pura is an amazingly crisp water that I just couldn't get enough of. Which is most likely due to the reverse osmosis process that adds the minerals and electrolytes, which regular purified water doesn't have, including Calcium Chloride, Potassium Bicarbonate, and Magnesium Chloride.  Another great feature of Aspira Pura is the bottles, which are BPA free. I've found through trial and error that this means that even when they are shipped in the heat your water won't get that plastic taste... if you drink cheap Wal-mart water you know what I'm talking about.  Depending where you look, this water will run you about the same price / mL as Icelandic Glacial or LIFEWTR, but that's because you're getting the same great minerals, electr

VigLink - for my bloggers!

VigLink is a way for blogs to make money, especially when google is messing up your AdSense (like they're doing to me for some reason). From what I understand they create hyperlinks on thing within your blog that you have talked about, but may not have thought to link to the company's site, because maybe they weren't your main focus. Then they give you $ for the traffic that those links (and some that you have already made) get.  In 2015 I made over $700 with VigLink, mainly due to a few of my Christmas shopping posts.  So they are totally legit! And you can make way more money than with AdSense (or at least I have in the past). Plus you can use both at the same time, so you can earn money from VigLink's links and from the ads that AdSense puts up. Win - Win!
