Awesome App of the Week - Viggle

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let you know about this awesome app I found this week, called Viggle.  It let's you earn points by watching tv! You just have to touch the screen when the app is open and it will listen to what you're watching for a few seconds then you "Check In" to the show and earn your points!!!

What's really great is that the shows don't have to be on TV at the time you track them, so you can track shows from dvr, hulu, network websites, or anywhere else that plays them (as long as it's no more than 7days after the show originally airs)!! Plus, nearly every channel and show is track-able, so you can just watch what you normally do and earn rewards for it!!

As a bonus, you can play trivia type games along with Viggle, as your favorite shows air.  They generally ask questions about the previous week's  episode, so you don't even have to be watching the show to play the game!  Correct answers are awarded 25 points, and if your answer is wrong, no worries, you still get 5 points! And, as you can imagine, that adds up FAST!

You can redeem points for gift cards, Redbox rentals, movie tickets, Hulu plus memberships, a Kindle Fire, and tons of other things.  You can begin to redeem points for rewards starting at 1000 points (for a sweepstakes entry). The rest of the rewards start at 3000  points and work on up to 350,000 (for the Kindle Fire).  Rewards increase in value, as the "cost" goes up.

Now, I know that 3000 sounds like a lot of points, but when you sign up you get 1,500 bonus points right off the bat! Plus you can also get bonus points for viewing the ads on the app (generally 15 points per ad, but some are 50 - 150)! If you watch 2-3 hours of tv a day, you can easily be earning rewards equivalent to $5+ a week, in the form of gift cards of your choosing; all just for doing something you would already be doing anyway! Pretty great!

You can register with Viggle at http://join.viggle.com/Magoogan, and then download it through the App Store or through the Android beta testing program, it's that easy!

Aspira Pura - Pure Joy Bottled

I had the great joy of randomly bumping into this company on Instagram, where they offered to send me a few free bottles of their water to see how I liked it.  I must say I absolutely love it, it's like pure joy bottled!  Aspira Pura is an amazingly crisp water that I just couldn't get enough of. Which is most likely due to the reverse osmosis process that adds the minerals and electrolytes, which regular purified water doesn't have, including Calcium Chloride, Potassium Bicarbonate, and Magnesium Chloride.  Another great feature of Aspira Pura is the bottles, which are BPA free. I've found through trial and error that this means that even when they are shipped in the heat your water won't get that plastic taste... if you drink cheap Wal-mart water you know what I'm talking about.  Depending where you look, this water will run you about the same price / mL as Icelandic Glacial or LIFEWTR, but that's because you're getting the same great minerals, electr...

LIFE WTR... another reverse osmosis purified water with added electrolytes...

Life wtr is another reverse osmosis purified water with added electrolytes that has nearly the same price tag as natural mineral water...  Why is this? The art installations on the bottles are vibrant, making it stand out on shelves. But what makes it cost so much? It does taste amazing, nearly as crisp and delicious as my favorite water so far, Icelandic Glacial. So, maybe there's something to this reverse osmosis vs. whatever they do to purify the cheap Wal-mart water?!

Earning Money Online

I know there are a lot of people looking for web-based jobs but it's so hard to distinguish between REAL opportunities and SCAMS that they give up and decide to just keep doing what they are doing, no matter how miserable it makes them. I know that's how I was for years. I ran into so many scams I just gave up.  Then, one day I was directed to oDesk.com , an amazing website that pairs companies with workers online! It was so simple to start working on oDesk, I just signed up for an account, filled out my portfolio, and started applying for jobs as a freelance writer. If you're not a writer, don't fret, there are plenty of different types of jobs on oDesk.  Companies are looking for computer programmers, bloggers, people to check and respond to e-mail, data entry, etc. So no matter your field of expertise, you can find someone who wants to hire you! Plus, you set your wages! Another way to make money online is to start a blog, which can be about anything you enj...
