Burt's Bees Sensitive Skin Care Products

As a member of BzzAgent, I was offered the opportunity to try and Bzz about Burt's Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser and Burt's Bees Sensitive Daily Moisturizer Cream, which are hypo-allergenic, fragrance free, and made with 99% natural ingredients. Check out Burt's Bees Natural Skin Solutions for Sensitive Skin on Facebook!

The first thing I noticed when I received the products was that the cleanser is a nice size at 6oz, but the moisturizer is quite a bit smaller at 1.8 oz. They have nearly no smell, just a slight hint of something that is indistinguishable to me, it's possibly cotton, as that is the image depicted on the bottles, but it is so slight a scent I can't be sure.

The Burt's Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser is a wonderful soap- free cleanser. It contains natural extracts such as: Quillaja, from the bark of the Soapbark tree- to provide a natural foaming lather, Yucca- for cleansing, Cotton- to soften, Rice- to moisturize, and Aloe- to soothe.

At $9.99, I can honestly say that this is one of the best, affordable, facial cleansers I've used. It is right up there with the Mario Badescu cleansers I tried last month. It leaves your face feeling soft and smooth, but it did tend to dry my face out more so than the Mario Badescu products did, but that could also just be the weather changes we've had.

The Burt's Bees Sensitive Daily Moisturizing Cream is a great, thick moisturizer. Like the facial cleanser it too contains natural cotton, rice, and aloe extracts.

I love the packaging of this one! It has an easy to use pump top bottle with a lid, thus it is travel/ purse safe! I'm not usually a fan of thick moisturizers, especially for the day time, however this one won me over. It seems really thick when you first put it on, but it absorbs quickly and feels nice and light. It's a little more expensive at $14.99 and there is also a Burts Bees Sensitive Night Cream (which I didn't try) that is also $14.99, and probably a similar size. Biggest down side for me is it has no SPF, and it is so important to protect your face from sun damage!

For more info on these and other Burt's Bees Sensitive Skin Solutions, go to the Burt's Bees website or look for the products in a store near you!
My recommendations:

If you have extremely sensitive skin, and that is your only, or top concern, this is a great product for you! I would definitively recommend buying these products!

If your skin is only a little sensitive or you have other concerns (wrinkles, acne, etc), I would recommend using only the facial cleanser, and buying a moisturizer specifically to fit your other needs (which is most likely what I'm going to do, as I love the facial cleanser but I only use moisturizers with SPF).

As a member of BzzAgent, this campaign was to try Burt's Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser and Burt's Bees Sensitive Daily Moisturizer Cream, and to Bzz about these products, by trying them out and sharing my HONEST opinion. I was sent full sized bottles of both products by BzzAgent.com but everything in this post is 100% my honest opinion!

Aspira Pura - Pure Joy Bottled

I had the great joy of randomly bumping into this company on Instagram, where they offered to send me a few free bottles of their water to see how I liked it.  I must say I absolutely love it, it's like pure joy bottled!  Aspira Pura is an amazingly crisp water that I just couldn't get enough of. Which is most likely due to the reverse osmosis process that adds the minerals and electrolytes, which regular purified water doesn't have, including Calcium Chloride, Potassium Bicarbonate, and Magnesium Chloride.  Another great feature of Aspira Pura is the bottles, which are BPA free. I've found through trial and error that this means that even when they are shipped in the heat your water won't get that plastic taste... if you drink cheap Wal-mart water you know what I'm talking about.  Depending where you look, this water will run you about the same price / mL as Icelandic Glacial or LIFEWTR, but that's because you're getting the same great minerals, electr

VigLink - for my bloggers!

VigLink is a way for blogs to make money, especially when google is messing up your AdSense (like they're doing to me for some reason). From what I understand they create hyperlinks on thing within your blog that you have talked about, but may not have thought to link to the company's site, because maybe they weren't your main focus. Then they give you $ for the traffic that those links (and some that you have already made) get.  In 2015 I made over $700 with VigLink, mainly due to a few of my Christmas shopping posts.  So they are totally legit! And you can make way more money than with AdSense (or at least I have in the past). Plus you can use both at the same time, so you can earn money from VigLink's links and from the ads that AdSense puts up. Win - Win!
