Hydroxatone- Moisturizer to the Stars

Hydroxatone's website [http://www.hydroxatone.com/] promotes Hydroxatone as the "Official Skincare Sponsor of the Daytime Emmys." I believe that at an earlier time their website also said why, that being that it was given out in the swag bags at the daytime Emmys, though I can't recall how many times.

I received two bottles of Hydroxatone AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex with SPF 15 in the mail for a 1 Month trial. You can get this same trial via one of these Hydroxatone websites: http://www.hydroxatone.com/ (which I used) or http://www.tryhydroxatone.com/. Their policy is if you don't like it send it back within the month (even if the bottle's empty) and they will charge you nothing.

I gave one bottle to my mother, who's in her late 50's, and kept one bottle for myself. We both came out of the experiment with one complaint...

It's to heavy.

My mom thought it was okay for night use, despite it's heaviness, and kept using it. She said her skin felt much softer and was much smoother, by the end of the first week (just using it at night). As the weeks went by, her skin looked better and better; her wrinkles were even less noticeable.

Personally, I hardly managed to use it a whole week, even just at night, because for me it just sat on my skin and hardly absorbed at all. I didn't notice any positive change while I used it, but I'm only 26.

So my recommendation is if you are older, or have dry skin, you may find this product is the best thing that's ever touched your face. However, if you have normal - oily skin, you may want to look else where.

Also before you order any trials, you may want to check the actual products out and see the prices you'll be charged if you don't return the bottles on time. As far as I can tell, you can only view the products via the products tab on http://www.hydroxatone.com/.

If you try, or have tried, this prodcut let me (and everyone else) know what you think!! Leave a comment on this post.

  1. It effectively made a woman's face look and feel younger. Plus, it has been approved by dermatologists to treat wrinkles and there is no prescription needed. This means there isn't a risk, but it is important to follow all of the instructions and use it appropriately. If you don't do this right, it won't matter what you are using.

  2. But if it is too greasy for you to use 2x a day, then it's pointless and expensive... If you have very dry skin, and can use it as recommended, then it's still expensive, but you could see results. But for me, it made my face sweat... and that's just gross!

Aspira Pura - Pure Joy Bottled

I had the great joy of randomly bumping into this company on Instagram, where they offered to send me a few free bottles of their water to see how I liked it.  I must say I absolutely love it, it's like pure joy bottled!  Aspira Pura is an amazingly crisp water that I just couldn't get enough of. Which is most likely due to the reverse osmosis process that adds the minerals and electrolytes, which regular purified water doesn't have, including Calcium Chloride, Potassium Bicarbonate, and Magnesium Chloride.  Another great feature of Aspira Pura is the bottles, which are BPA free. I've found through trial and error that this means that even when they are shipped in the heat your water won't get that plastic taste... if you drink cheap Wal-mart water you know what I'm talking about.  Depending where you look, this water will run you about the same price / mL as Icelandic Glacial or LIFEWTR, but that's because you're getting the same great minerals, electr...

VigLink - for my bloggers!

VigLink is a way for blogs to make money, especially when google is messing up your AdSense (like they're doing to me for some reason). From what I understand they create hyperlinks on thing within your blog that you have talked about, but may not have thought to link to the company's site, because maybe they weren't your main focus. Then they give you $ for the traffic that those links (and some that you have already made) get.  In 2015 I made over $700 with VigLink, mainly due to a few of my Christmas shopping posts.  So they are totally legit! And you can make way more money than with AdSense (or at least I have in the past). Plus you can use both at the same time, so you can earn money from VigLink's links and from the ads that AdSense puts up. Win - Win!
